A Happy, Healthy Winter


I love winter with leaves falling from the trees indulgently beautiful shop windows and the heart melting smells of spicy candles as well as excited children and beautifully frosty fields to crunch our boots over – winter is filled with so much charm! Although an exciting season unfortunatley the cold weather can also sometime brings with it numerous health problems such as dry skin and lips the common cold and the winter blues therefore Beauty Steals have put together some tips below to help keep you healthy and happy throughout the winter months:
Lip balms slaves and glosses
Im never without my lip balm or lipgloss – avoid unsightly chapped and dry lips by generously applying any lip balm or lipgloss throughout the winter – even when you are not outside in the cold.
Thick creamy lotions and potions

Hydrate
Drinks lots of water (8 glasses at least) central heating can be very drying and without enough water you can become very lethargic and tired – not good when you have lots of Christmas parties to attend!
Be Realistic 
Dont do too much all at once -rushing around the shops expecting to get all your presents in one hit is not realistic – internet shopping can be a lot less stressful (if your reading this well done!). However if you are having a long day shopping carrying around lots of heavy bags then its a really good idea to take lots of breaks and treat yourselves to a yummy christmas coffee – my favourite is Starbucks Salted Caramel Mocha..mmmm!
De-Stress
Plan a less stressful christmas – the build up to christmas can be very stressful and knowing you have to cook for lots of people on xmas day can be very daunting therefore share the burden and ask members of the family if they would mind preparing the starter or dessert so you have less to faff over and more time of enjoy.
