Not just for Scars and Stretch Marks, 5 Alternative uses for Bio Oil

Eye Make Up Remover: Not only is Bio-Oil effective in removing eye makeup (even waterproof formulas), it will moisturize your very sensitive eye area and condition your lashes!

Hair Treatments: If you have dry hair and split ends from years of dyeing your hair like me, then a Bio-Oil hair treatment might be exactly what you need. Pour a small amount into the palm of your hand, warm it up between your hands, and apply to your ends. Apply it to dry hair before bed and then wash in the morning. Or, put it on hair after styling to tame frizz and soften ends.

Cuticle Softener: Even if your nails are perfectly painted, dry cuticles can ruin the entire manicure. Try Bio-Oil as a cuticle treatment to soften them; if you're using an orange stick with your manicure, this will make your cuticles easier to push up.

For Travel: After a day at the beach, even the best of us may get a little too much sun. Bio-Oil can be used to soothe burnt skin and replenish moisture. As an added bonus, it relieves those itchy mosquito bites too!

In Your Make-Up Kit: Bio-Oil is a great addition to your cosmetics bag, here are a few tips and tricks.
- Mix with an illuminator or any creamy blush with sheen, using a fan brush, sweep on the cheekbones, nose or forehead to give a dewy complexion.
- Bio-Oil can be used as a primer because it makes skin soft. Makeup can be applied smoothly over top once it's absorbed into the skin.
- For a little pick-me-up, mix cold water with a few drops of Bio-Oil. Put the mixture into a spray bottle and spritz your face for a little refresher.
